Bale won't be leaving Real for Prem because no club can afford his £650k wages

Manchester United, Spurs and Chelsea are all keen on the Real Madrid superstar who would cost £150million plus £650,000-a-week wages.

But his long-time agent Jonathan Barnett declared: “Gareth loves it there. As for going to another club, no one could afford him.”

Bale has been hammered by Madrid fans this term — most recently in Sunday’s loss to Barcelona.

There have also been claims that he does not mix with his team-mates and still struggles to speak Spanish after six years in the country.

That is despite the Welsh winger, 29, collecting FOUR Champions League winner’s medals and netting 101 goals in 218 appearances since joining Real from Tottenham for £85m.

Bale, who is under contract until 2022, scored twice in last year’s final win over Liverpool — one of them a wonder strike.

He has 13 goals in 33 games this season but Real are floundering in third place in La Liga.

Barnett added: “The fans in Madrid have been an utter disgrace.

“They should be ashamed of themselves. Those fans should be kissing his feet.

“In the six years he has been in Spain, he has won everything.

“He’s one of the best players in the world.

“For years to come, this generation of fans in Madrid and their children will be talking about the goals he has scored.

“Gareth Bale is without doubt one of the greatest players Britain has produced and he should be embraced.

“Despite what has been reported, he’s content, he wants to stay at Real and they want him.

“He’s happy, he speaks reasonable Spanish and there is no problem between him and the rest of the Real players.”
