Arsenal 'investigate anti-Semitism claims after fan was forced to leave Tottenham clash'

The Mail claims he was confronted by a Jewish supporter during the Gunners’ 2-0 Carabao Cup quarter-final defeat to Tottenham after apparently chanting about "gassing Jewish people."

And it’s said that Arsenal are now investigating the incident after footage also emerged of one man allegedly making anti-Semitic gestures to Spurs fans during the game.

It's the latest incident to rock the club from last night, with Gunners chiefs claiming they have identified the culprit who threw a bottle at Tottenham star Dele Alli.

Shocking footage appears to show the person responsible was a child in the stands, while it’s also been revealed by the Met that police officers made seven arrests at the game.

And Arsenal have suffered further after being hit with an FA fine for failing to control their players during the Premier League win over Spurs earlier this month.

Premier League clubs are being urged to clamp down on racism, homophobia and anti-Semitism following an apparent spate of incidents in recent weeks.

It’s claimed the Arsenal supporter began his anti-Semitic chanting after Alli put Spurs 2-0 up in the second half.

He was then challenged by the Jewish supporter and other fans in a heated confrontation before being told to leave the Emirates.

The incident comes on the back of Chelsea fans allegedly chanting anti-Semitic phrases during their Europe League trip to Vidi in Hungary last week, and it seems the FA now has another case on its hands.
