The Ivory Coast defender is desperate to return after a comeback bid with Sunderland in 2016 was ruined by a 12-month ban, before medical issues stopped him joining Cypriot side Turk Ocagi Limasol.
Eboue, 35, was then left broke following his divorce and last year revealed he had battled depression and considered suicide.
Last month the former Ivory Coast right-back was arrested on suspicion of arson but he faces no further action over this matter.
Now MLS team LA are pondering offering Eboue a route back.
The ex-Galatasaray star has insisted he would gladly move as far afield as Baghdad or Pakistan if he could revive his career.
And Galaxy officials believe his experience could still do a good job.
Brazilians Cruzeiro are also thought to be interested in ending Eboue's absence.
But he has not played since signing for Sunderland two years ago without actually appearing on the pitch, as he was suspended for failing to pay a former agent.
Before that, though, Gunners fans loved his cavalier style in a seven-year spell from 2004, when he also won a large share of his 79 caps.
In all, Eboue played 214 times for Arsenal, netting ten goals.
