Antonio Brown’s stunning new video shows moment of Raiders release

If the Patriots don’t work out, maybe Antonio Brown should give Hollywood his best shot.

For the second time in as many days, the seven-time Pro Bowler posted a video to YouTube, with Saturday’s 49-second bit purportedly featuring the moment Brown found out the Raiders had released him earlier in the day.

“Free,” the 31-year-old superstar wide receiver screams as he runs into his backyard. “Let’s go! Let’s go!”

It’s no surprise Brown — who signed a one-year, $15 million contract with the Patriots late Saturday afternoon — was ecstatic to see his chaotic time in Oakland come to an end.

Before his release, he wrote on Instagram, “Release me, Raiders,” in response to the franchise stripping him of $29 million in guaranteed money. That punishment came hours after Brown posted his first film, showcasing what appeared to be a private phone call with head coach Jon Gruden — the latest of many transgressions committed by Brown this season.

“No way I play after they took that and made my contract week to week,” Brown told ESPN in an email.

He will not.

“Grandma, I’m free,” he said over the phone in the latest video. “They freed me, Grandma,” to which she responded, “I told you it would work out.”
It sure did, with Brown now on his way to the defending champion and Super Bowl-favorite Patriots.
