New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis has changed agents and will now be represented by the high-powered firm that also counts LeBron James among its clients.
The five-time NBA All-Star announced an official agreement with Rich Paul's Klutch Sports Group on Sunday.
Davis still has two seasons and $52 million remaining on his current contract with the Pelicans, but he'll be eligible next summer for a maximum five-year, $230 million extension.
The move raises speculation Davis could put pressure on the Pelicans to trade him — possibly joining James on the Los Angeles Lakers — in much the same way former Pelicans guard Chris Paul forced the team to trade him in 2010.
