Aly Raisman is asking fans for help after her dog Mylo ran away during a Fourth of July celebration near Boston.

“Sick to my stomach & completely heartbroken,” the Olympian, 27, wrote on Instagram Tuesday. “Hoping for good news soon.”

Over on Twitter, Raisman shared that she is offering a reward for her pup’s safe return.

“Please keep your eyes open, he could be trapped or hiding,” she pleaded.

The gymnast shared that Mylo got loose after running away from a fireworks display on Saturday.

“To my followers in the seaport/Boston area…my dog Mylo was terrified of fireworks and ran off. He has a tag on and a leash. Please let me know if you see him. Thank you,” she wrote in another Instagram post.

The gold medalist added that Mylo is “terrified” and advised that if anyone spots her dog, they should send her the location instead of running after him so as not to spook him more.

“I still ask that if he is running please do not chase him, we don’t want to push him further away or put him in danger,” she tweeted.

Raisman adopted Mylo, a rescue dog, in October 2020.

“Meet Mylo. I rescued Mylo yesterday from Heart of RI shelter,” she tweeted at the time. “He was born July 16, 2020. I’m so excited to be his mom. I’ve already cried a few times because I feel so lucky. He’s currently napping on my chest. I can’t wait to get to know him.”

Since then, Raisman has shared her love for Mylo on Instagram, even writing in a post in June, “I didn’t rescue him… he rescued me.”

The athlete asks that fans contact [email protected] if Mylo is spotted.
