Alexandre Lacazette had ‘furious exchange’ with under-fire Arsenal boss Unai Emery during Saints draw as tensions rise – The Sun

ARSENAL striker Alexandre Lacazette was reportedly involved in a fiery exchange with boss Unai Emery during the 2-2 against Southampton on Saturday.

The Gunners forward – who netted twice against the Saints – rescued a point at the Emirates thanks to his 96th minute equaliser.

The result leaves the North London club in eighth spot in the table having failed to win any of their last five Premier League matches.

Emery is believed to be clinging onto his job, with Wolves gaffer Nuno Espirito Santo the bookies' favourite to replace him.

It has been claimed that the Arsenal players have lost faith in the Spaniard, with the squad said to be confused by his constantly changing tactics.

And Emery is said to have been involved in a 'heated row' with Lacazette according to Football.London.

The incident is alleged to have taken place early in the second half when there was a break in play after a Southampton player went down injured.

It's unclear what the argument was about, but it is the latest sign that the squad are not happy with the former Paris Saint-Germain manager.
