Alan Sugar makes toilet confession on visit to new Tottenham stadium

First game? First goal? First win? First trophy? First pee in the Directors Lounge?

Tottenham fans have been pondering all that’s to come when they finally make the move into their new state-of-the-art 62,000-seater stadium.

Thanks to Sir Alan Sugar, they already have the answer to one of those burning questions.

Since the stadium is yet to stage a game of football, you can guess which one of the above Alan has ticked off the list.

The former Spurs owner shared a video from pitch side at the creatively-named Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, declaring it ‘the best in the UK, Europe and possibly the world.’

He also revealed that he became the first person to christen the toilets in the new Directors Lounge, an honour any Tottenham fan would surely cherish.

Tottenham had originally planned to move into their new stadium in time for the visit of Liverpool back in September, but multiple setbacks have seen the move pushed back to the new year.

The club recently agreed a deal to use Wembley for the rest of the 2018/19 season if necessary, but only at a reduced capacity.

A statement on the club’s website read: “Whilst Wembley National Stadium Ltd has been able to assign us a number of full capacity games, the restriction on the number of full capacity events available to WNSL each year means that our remaining Premier League fixtures after Chelsea (24th November) will be capped at 51,000 unless otherwise advised.

“Special dispensation was granted by Brent Council for the 2017/18 season for WNSL to be permitted to increase the number of events at full capacity as a result of our temporary relocation for the entire season."
