AC Milan 'to fine new CEO Ivan Gazidis £90 every time he mentions Arsenal'

The South African-born businessman spent nine years at the Emirates and has recently taken up a role as a director at the Rossoneri.

The ex-Arsenal supremo is reportedly on a WHOPPING £3.6million a year for the Italian Job.

However, it seems as though he will be parting ways with much of his cash as he settles in to life in Milan.

SportsMediaset have claimed the 54-year-old will be fined £90 every time he speaks about Arsenal.

And it will be even harder for him to keep hold of his cash as AC Milan have reportedly told him to run the club like he did with the Gunners.

Gazidis will be responsible for looking after the club's finances just as he was in North London.

Earlier this month, Italian outlet Calciomercato said the model he will implement will mean "more than winning, therefore, it will be essential to be permanently among the top three/four in the standings to consistently qualify for the Champions League".

It was in September when the Arsenal announced that Gazidis would be leaving the club for AC Milan.

The football tycoon, who also previously worked in the United States for the MLS, has made way for Raul Sanllehi and Vinai Venkatesham – alongside incoming manager Unai Emery.
