ARSENAL were stunned as they let a two-goal lead slip away at Watford on Sunday afternoon.

Things were going to plan after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted a brace before the break, but the Hornets stormed back in the second period to snatch a deserved point.

  • WHAT started as a walk in the park turned into a nightmare for Unai Emery at Vicarage Road.

    Arsenal led 2-0 at half time against Watford, but second half strikes from Tom Cleverley and Roberto Pereyra stunned the Gunners who'd led through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's brace.

    One positive for the Gunners is the sight of new star William Saliba, who was back in training with the side yesterday in London.

    And he was spotted in the away end at Watford with the Arsenal fans – who in the end had to settle for a point in the sunshine.

    The Spaniard suffered a cruciate ligament rupture back in January – but was back working with the rest of the first team squad ahead of the Watford match.

    The Spanish international is expected to return to competitive action later this month.

    While ARSENAL are set to pip Manchester United to the signing of teenage defender Logan Pye.

    The 15-year-old Sunderland starlet is seen as an exciting young centre-back – but can also play on either side of the defence.
