MESUT OZIL and Sead Kolasinac are out of action indefinitely after the pair were caught in the middle of a North London gang battle.
Unai Emery, 47, has had to do without the pair for the start of the season, leaving the Gunners with an experimental line-up for the trip to St James' Park.
Emery said: “The club is managing that circumstance.
“We want to be with them as soon as possible and with normality in training and normality to be ready to play.
“But I don't know now when they will be available.”

ARSENAL'S new Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos has become an instant hero for what has been described as “ultimate s***housery” in the win at Newcastle.
As the clock ticked into injury-time, second half sub Ceballos announced himself in his own special way to Arsenal fans.
Newcastle defender Javier Manquillo had shepherded the ball out for a goal kick, and then attempted to kick the ball to keeper Martin Dubravka for the re-start.
But Ceballos nipped in a kicked the ball away, before running off and pointing at an imaginary watch and urging the ref to blow for full-time.
