Sharing her raw emotion in a video on the app, the woman sobbed as she inspected her costly new short hairstyle.
Whilst crying in the front seat of her car, the woman said: “I just paid $300 (£215) to look like a f***ing Karen. I look like I’m on the PTA. I swear I don’t drive a f***king minivan.”
She added: “I look like I have three sons who play f***king T-ball. I look like I collect coupons, oh God, I don’t collect coupons.”
Despite her disappointment that the haircut wasn’t what she had hoped for, the woman said she would try and embrace her new persona.
She said: “Okay, let’s practice, ‘Let me speak to your manager.’ Oh my God, why does God f***king hate me!”
Following the upload, the woman’s reaction to her own haircut went viral. The clip was liked around 800,000 times and the user has been inundated with comments of support from users who have gone through a similar experience.
One user wrote: “Girl I have been there! I got 8 inches cut off unplanned and the hair stylist kept cutting I was in tears.”
Another added: “Aww I FEEL YOUR PAIN but you are HELLA FUNNY and cute.” A third said: “The way you’re crying your eyes out and roasting yourself which makes you cry harder is sending me into orbit!”
