USS Nimitz UFO ‘spotted’ on Google Earth crash-landed in Antarctica

A UFO spotted by the USS Nimitz in an infamous encounter has been spotted on Google Earth in Antarctica, a conspiracy theorist has claimed.

In November 2004, off the coast of San Diego, US, a Navy fighter jet spotted an unknown object hurtling through the skies.

The pilot reported the object moved at astonishing speed despite having “no plumes or wings or rotors” and was described as around 30-46feet long.

YouTube conspiracist Florida Marquis has now claimed he has spotted that very object on the snowy landscape of Antarctica.

Using Google Earth, he pointed out a strange-looking pill-shaped “structure” lying on the ice.

“As you can see, it is bright white and the shape of a tic-tac,” he says.

The YouTuber then goes to measure the object, to see if it tallies up with the measurements given in the USS Nimitz incident.

He discovers that it is 56ft long, slightly larger than what was described in 2004.

“But they also were describing a craft that can move to 20,000ft within a second.

“So could they have been off by a few feet? Probably not in the realm of possibility.

The mystery deepens when the user looks at historical pictures of the same location.

The image from February 20120 shows, according to Marquis, a “giant glowing white unknown thing” that looks “very much like a tic-tac craft”.

As the conspiracist points out, the structure “does seem to move”.

“But why everything else in the region is dark is beyond me,” he adds.

More than 20,000 people have seen the footage since it was posted to YouTube on October 4.

"Buddy, there is nothing to argue about with you, your discoveries are mind-boggling," one wrote.

Another commented: "There are things in Antarctica that humanity isn't supposed to know about."

And a third added: "What you see going on down there is just the tip of the iceberg."
