Uri Geller doesn’t understand sceptics who debunk ‘real and amazing’ UFO footage

World-famous spoonbender Uri Geller has declared he is “stunned at sceptics” who try to argue against the existence of UFOs after he shared a video of a supposed spacecraft sighting.

The mystifier posted a video to his Twitter showing a huge object floating through the air in broad daylight, writing: “If it’s fake please explain to me how this is done. If it’s real, wow amazing.”

More than half a million people have seen the clip, with not everyone so sure that it evidenced extra-terrestrial life and some crediting the video to Adobe After Effects.

But Uri has pointed out that UFO sightings have been on the rise and said that even NASA is taking reports seriously, after the space agency confirmed it is investigating several unexplainable events.

He told the Daily Star: “The more and more visits and UFOs that are filmed by ordinary people, from Hawaii to Japan and Iceland, the more credible these sightings will become.

“UFOs and aliens are definitely amongst us. We are being studied, we are being visited.

“You cannot discount footage coming out of American fighter cockpits, you can hear them saying, ‘oh my gosh wow, we have no such technology.”

The 76-year-old, who was investigated by the CIA over his supposed psychic powers, said he was shocked at people who try to disprove extra-terrestrial life.

Uri explained: “I am stunned at sceptics who try to debunk this subject. Aliens are visiting us, aliens might be landing in oceans, aliens are probably walking among us.

“If they have the technology to fly faster than the speed of light, then goodness – what’s the big deal for them to send robotic aliens who study us closer here on earth? I could be an alien myself.”
