‘Time traveller from 2027’ who says he’s last man alive wants to return to 2021

A "time traveller" who claimed to have witnessed "human extinction in 2027" has asked for help to send him back to 2021.

Javier, from Valencia, Spain, posted a series of surreal videos of the empty city on TikTok @unicosobreviviente after claiming to wake up in hospital six years in the future to find he was "the last man alive".

His previous clips showed him wandering the streets where no cars and people can be seen.

He first posted on February 13 recording himself visiting shops and restaurants which were stack full of items.

But the fact that necessities like electricity and internet connection were still be available to Javier rather debunked his claims of being the last man alive.

The solo explorer claimed to have heard a noise coming from a bomb shelter in a factory-turned-museum.

He filmed what was inside the small shelter and said he couldn't find anything that showed signs of life.

In his recent video seen by more than 300,000 views, Javier said on Monday (March 29) that he would like to go back to 2021.

He writes in Spanish in the clip: "I haven't asked for it for a long time, but I need your help.

"I had got used to being alone, but I have to go back to 2021."

Javier, however, does not explain why he has to return to present time. He asks viewers: "Can you think of anything?

"Let me know in the comments."

Thousands of people seemed to have responded to Javier's distress call and left suggestions in the comments.

One said: "Try the elevator."

Another suggested a trick used in Amazon drama series Truth Seekers, saying: "You have to go to the hospital and sleep there so you go back to 2021."

A third wrote: "Reverse walking back to where you first appeared, maybe that will bring you back."
