A frustrated dessert shop issued a foul-mouthed job ad for a new manager – warning “Karens and Darrens” or those with long, dirty nails not to apply.

Shorties Desserts’ expletive-laden post has been hailed as the “best job advert” ever.

The post for a 30 to 35-hour-a-week role began: “We’re looking for an awesome assistant manager, who wants a f**king job, to jump on board with us.

“We don’t want Karens or Darrens, so please no wet wipes, or Debbie downers! We need someone that can hit the ground running, and not have to be told time and again, and still f**k s**t up, we’ve wasted so much time and money, we just want someone who has a work ethic to succeed, commitment and accountability.”

Two years’ experience with “no coke, crack habit or drink problem” are also required. And applicants with “mould under their fingernails or nails like samurai swords” need not apply.

Facebook users commended Shorties for its blunt approach, with one writing: “God damn it, why do I have to live in the Austrian mountains and be 58 years old. Bloody brilliant job advert for a job, wish I was younger and closer.”

Another said it was “employer of the decade”.

Shorties, in Cwmbran, South Wales, has been contacted for comment.
