Spooky footage of a strange figure moving inside a prison cell in the dead of night has left Reddit viewers terrified.
The creepy clip – supposedly taken in a facility in the Netherlands – shows a desolate room with nothing but a bed and a toilet.
No one seems to be inside for most of the footage, until the very end.
A shadowy black figure moves across the camera before leaving the room.
The video was posted to a Reddit channel yesterday by user @ookhier.

They claimed they received the footage from a friend who was on a night shift.
"The experience while watching it over and over again… I did have a proper 'wtf'," he said.
"If it turns out to be a prank she's lost her soulmate!"
The clip has since received more than 400 upvotes and dozens of viewers have flocked to the comments section to voice their thoughts.

"This gave me goosebumps," one wrote.
Another commented: "That's pretty freaky."
A third viewer suggested it was simply the result of the tape being taped over – resulting in "ghosting" occurring.
But the uploader responded by saying there is "no taping because of privacy matters".
