A mysterious orange light seen lighting up the sky in Ohio in a bizarre clip that has left the internet – and authorities – stumped.
Footage captured by Dia Willwerth showed the bizarre moment the night sky illuminated orange on January 11 in the US.
Behind a row of trees, flashes of red and orange spark for a few moments before stopping.
The light becomes so bright at one point the sky replicates that of dusk.
Dia asks: "Is anybody else seeing this s**t? It's lighting up red.
"I have never seen red lightning, that's wild."
There is yet to be an explanation behind what caused the flash but plenty of eyewitnesses have since come forward to share their footage.

Some viewers have since become confused by the bizarre clip.
One person said: "What the hell."
Another added: "That's weird I've never seen thunder like that, if that's what it is?"
"It saw it too, there were red and green flashes," another commented.
The chance of it being a meteor has been quashed, as it would flash above the clouds rather than beneath.
And the nearest strike of lightning was hundreds of miles away, also ruling that out as a cause.

The incident carried on on Sunday evening, with local energy company Duke Energy saying 584 customers lost power for two minutes just before 7pm.
Engineers checked the line on Monday and found no fault.
Spokespeople for both Clermont County Emergency Management and Bethel Police say they have no explanation but did here from plenty of people reporting the flash.
While it is still not clear exactly what caused the incident, similar videos in the past have been attributed to transformers exploding.
