Michael Jackson alive conspiracy rages as lookalike’s Thriller tribute surfaces

Footage of an “identical” Michael Jackson lookalike performing his hit song Thriller has resurfaced after the album’s anniversary, sparking a conspiracy the King of Pop is still alive.

Sergio Cortes has become a viral sensation for his remarkable similarities to Jacko.

Various videos have seen fans bizarrely become convinced he is actually the singer, despite the Billie Jean hitmaker dying in 2009.

Daily Star Online has since uncovered footage of Sergio performing Thriller at a concert, following the 37th anniversary of the record-breaking album being released yesterday.

The clip, posted to YouTube in 2017, shows the impersonator strolling out on the stage in the iconic red jacket and black trousers combo.

He starts belting out the lyrics before he is joined by dancers clad in zombie outfits – to mimic the famous music video.

They then start performing the dance moves almost exactly like Jackson himself.

The footage has been seen more than 480,000 times and many of the comments mirror the wild conspiracies that circulated over Sergio’s more recent videos.

“Sergio Cortes is Michael Jackson reborn,” one wrote.

Another added: “I think this man is the original Michael Jackson.”

A third asked: “Is this the real Michael?”

But not everyone was convinced. Unlike previously reported videos, this one showcased the lookalike’s dance moves and singing ability, which some believed didn’t quite match up to MJ’s.

“He looks like him but his moves and singing is very far from the real one. He needs lots of lots of practice,” a fourth said.

And another agreed, adding: “Nobody is able to move and dance like MJ.”

Sergio has always maintained his uncanny similarities to the legendary singer are natural.

In a recent video, he denied claims from viewers that he had spent money on his looks.
