It’s a condition that affects around 3 million people across the UK, yet many people don’t know that they’re colour-blind.

Today is Colour Blind Awareness Day, and to celebrate, Optical Express has revealed three images, called Ishihara plates.

The images have the faces of famous people hidden in them – and if you can’t see the celebrities, you might be colour-blind.

Many notable people are colour-blind, including Keanu Reeves, Eddie Redmayne, Elton John and Meatloaf. Amazingly, Mark Zuckerberg, said that he even chose Facebook ’s blue logo because it was easier to distinguish!

Stephen Hannan, Clinical Services Director at Optical Express, said: “We want to raise awareness of this condition as, even though it is physically harmless, sufferers can feel stigmatised.

“Talking about it with a fun yet informative Ishihara test helps to remove this stigma and provides more information which will help those who struggle to distinguish between certain colours lead a normal and unrestricted life.”
