‘Fleet of glowing UFOs’ flew over busy highway before vanishing in midair

An apparent “fleet of UFOs" has been spotted flying over a park before disappearing into the night sky.

Footage emerged this week of what appears to be a line of glowing orbs moving soundlessly over a busy road and towards Lake Michigan in the US state of Illinois before becoming dimmer and eventually vanishing.

The footage was captured at around 6pm on November 26 last year, but has only just published by UFO hunting group MUFON.

Some UFOlogists believe that the deep, cold waters of Lake Michigan may conceal an alien base, and certainly many recent UFO reports seem to involve the mysterious objects moving in and out of seas and lakes.

As usual with UFO sightings, debunkers have come out to suggest possible rational explanations for the line of glowing lights in the sky.

Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites were blamed by one sceptic, while another commented that they live in the area and they could “clearly” see that the footage showed three helicopters with their red lights blinking.

However political scientist Thomas Vavrusco, commenting on YouTube, suggested that the clip could show a US Air Force TR-3B "Astra" drone flying in formation with extraterrestrial-operated craft.

The TR-3 is an as-yet unconfirmed USAF “black project” supposedly built by advanced weapons lab DARPA.

UFO believers say the top-secret plane is partially responsible for a number of unexplained sightings – including the notorious “triangular UFO’ image that emerged from the wave of sightings over Belgium in late 1989 and early 1990.

The Lake Michigan footage has emerged in the same week that a USAF nuclear weapons technician, Adrian Reister, revealed that he had seen a number of “glowing orbs” buzzing a top-secret bomber base in Missouri.

UFO sightings have frequently made in or near nuclear weapons facilities and power plants, suggesting that whoever is operating these unknown flying machines has a particular interest in mankind’s ability to destroy itself.

Former USAF Captain Robert Salas claims a UFO “switched off” ten of America’s doomsday missiles on March 24, 1967 because extraterrestrial life does not want us to use nuclear weapons.

He said: "I was in charge of ten nuclear missiles at the time when a UFO came over and hovered over our facility and while it was hovering there it was seen by all our guards.

"While the object was up there we lost all ten missiles due to guidance and control failure."

While he admitted that he could "only speculate” as to what happened on that day, he added that in his view: “This was a demonstration by an object of extra extraterrestrial origins and I don’t say that lightly.”
