Sameer, from Louisiana, posted a picture of his chicken nuggets with the simple caption “Do y’all peel your nuggets?”
That’s right. Sameer stripped every nugget naked, removing the tasty batter and leaving the chicken meat looking rather sad and cold next to a mountain of discarded coating.
The photo quickly went viral, being shared over 19,000 times and collecting nearly 9,000 comments.
And most commenters were absolutely horrified. One person wrote: “WTF, this turned me off nuggets.”
Another said: “Where does this person live because the cops are coming for him.”
“You’re a monster,” proclaimed a third.
A fourth added: “That’s disgusting.”
To be fair, there were a few supportive voices – One nugget-stripper said “Hahaha naked nuggets da bomb.”
Someone else, glad to see that they were not alone, confessed”I do the same thing.”
And finally, in the interest of compromise, one born diplomat commented “I would leave half the batter on.”
