5G could cause CANCER and HEART DISEASE – shock claim emerges

The UK is set to roll out 5G this year in what could revolutionise the world of communications. However, some believe 5G, which is the successor to 4G with download speeds theoretically reaching 10 gigabytes per second – were as 4G had a max of 300 megabytes per second – will not be all positive. In fact, some in some quarters there are concerns the increased radio frequency across the planet could be detrimental to our health.

To establish the 5G network thousands of antennae have had to be installed which has some worried.

On top of that, 5G will use higher radio frequencies which are more concentrated than the signals used by 4G systems which has again triggered health concerns.

As a result, Arthur Robert Firstenberg, an American author and activist, has established a petition in the hopes of getting 5G banned in order to save the population.

Mr Firstenberg’s petition reads: “5G will massively increase exposure to radio frequency (RF) radiation on top of the 2G, 3G and 4G networks for telecommunications already in place.

“RF radiation has been proven harmful for humans and the environment. The deployment of 5G constitutes an experiment on humanity and the environment that is defined as a crime under international law.

“Despite widespread denial, the evidence that radio frequency (RF) radiation is harmful to life is already overwhelming.

“The accumulated clinical evidence of sick and injured human beings, experimental evidence of damage to DNA, cells and organ systems in a wide variety of plants and animals, and epidemiological evidence that the major diseases of modern civilisation-cancer, heart disease, and diabetes-are in large part caused by electromagnetic pollution, forms a literature base of well over 10,000 peer-reviewed studies.”

However, industry experts have hit out at the claims, saying 5G signals pose absolutely no threat.

Hamish MacLeod, Director at Mobile UK, the trade association which represents Three, EE, O2 and Vodafone, told Express.co.uk: “Research into the safety of radio signals has been conducted for more than 50 years. The strong consensus among the public health agencies, such as the World Health Organisation (which set up the International EMF Project in 1996), is that no health risks have been established from exposure to the low-level radio signals used for mobile communications.

“In line with advice from WHO, the UK Government has adopted the exposure limits developed by International Commission on Non- Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) who monitor all new research. All UK mobile network build their networks within these guidelines.

“The limits developed by ICNIRP cover all radio signals used for mobile telecommunications in the UK, including the spectrum allocated for 5G services.”

The ultra-high speeds will be extremely beneficial for businesses and the public alike, according to economic forecasters who believe it will help herald an age of artificial intelligence and self driving cars.
