Thursday, November 29 is a very blessed day for fans of Zayn Malik. Not only they finally got the release date and title of the British singer’s much-anticipated sophomore album “Icarus Falls”, but also they were treated to a new song off the record entitled “Rainberry”.
“Rainberry” will be included on Zayn’s upcoming album “Icarus Falls” which is set to hit the stores on December 14. The record will be a double album and feature twenty seven tracks, including previously released songs “Entertainer”, “Sour Diesel” and the Nicki Minaj-assisted “No Candle No Light”. The full tracklist of the set has yet to be revealed.
Zayn previously said of the album, “I’m trying to keep it as mysterious as possible, but there’s a plan with the roll out. It’s going to be different than anything anyone has done before. It’s going to be interesting to see how the audience reacts to this kind of release. I wanted to try something different. I think it’s all going to make sense in the end when the album finally drops.”
“Icarus Falls” will be a follow-up to his solo debut album “Mind of Mine”, which hit the stores on March 25, 2016. The album received positive reviews from music critics and debuted atop Billboard 200 and U.K. Albums chart. It additionally set an iTunes record, becoming the first debut album to top the daily iTunes charts in more than 70 countries.
