Westlife finally confirm their reunion — but there's one classic member missing

Westlife fans, the lads are finally getting back together for that reunion tour. Well, most of them anyway!

Surely not at all spurred on by rival boyband Take That’s sold-out ‘Greatest Hits Tour’ for 2019, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan ended months of speculation on Wednesday (October 3) by confirming new music and a tour are coming.

“It was the other boys in Westlife who said ‘no’. They didn’t want me back,” Brian said in a newspaper interview.

“How does that make me feel? It makes me pretty upset because I didn’t realise they still had those feelings towards me.”

McFadden has yet to comment on his bandmates reuniting without him. Westlife will apparently be announcing firm details about their new music and tour in the weeks ahead.

The Irish group behind hits like ‘Swear It Again’, ‘If I Let You Go’ and ‘Flying Without Wings’ originally split in 2012 after their ‘Greatest Hits Tour’ wrapped up.
