Comedy legend Tommy Cannon is set to make a comeback as a solo act.
The funnyman, 83, will be going on the road with a new show this autumn, a year after losing his comedy partner Bobby Ball.
Laugh Me A Laugh will see him perform for fans in cities including Lincoln, Southampton and Leeds.
Tommy will be doing a new stand-up routine, performing songs and answering questions from the audience.
And he’ll be paying tribute to best pal Bobby, who died last October after being diagnosed with coronavirus.
Tommy will be joined on the 23-date tour by fellow comics Stu Francis and Johnnie Casson.

A show source said: “It is great news that Tommy has decided to continue entertaining their legion of fans.
“There is no doubt he will do Bobby proud. It’s going to be emotional.
“The fact that he will also be joined by two other legends of old-school comedy, Stu Francis and Johnnie Casson, is bound to make it a fun night of memories and comedy.”

The tour kicks off in September and runs for two months.
Cannon and Ball shot to fame on the talent show Opportunity Knocks in 1968.
They went on to become one of comedy’s best-loved double acts. Their glittering career saw them front their own primetime Saturday night show for more than a decade.

In the years before Bobby’s death they starred on shows including I’m A Celebrity, Last Laugh In Vegas and Coach Trip.
Bobby passed away on 28 October 2020 at the age of 76, from Covid complications.
