Winners of this year’s Teen Choice Awards in music category have been announced during a live ceremony at The Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 12. Camila Cabello and 5 Seconds of Summer were the ones who won big at the annual event, collecting three trophies each.

The Cuban songstress claimed the coveted Choice Female Artist and Choice Summer Female Artist after beating down other strong contenders such as Ariana Grande and Cardi B. She additionally won Choice Song: Female Artist for her Young Thug-assisted hit “Havana”.

Meanwhile, the Australian pop rock band brought home Choice Music Group and Choice Summer Group. Similar to Camila, they also won Choice Song: Group for their latest hit “Youngblood”, defeating the likes of “Wait” by Maroon 5 and “Feel It Still” by Portugal. The Man.

Trailing behind the two musicians with two awards were Khalid, Imagine Dragons and Shawn Mendes. While Khalid nabbed Choice Breakout Artist and Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Song for his collaboration with Normani Kordei on “Love Lies”, the rock band snatched Choice: Rock Artist and Choice Rock/Alternative Song for “Whatever It Takes”. On the other hand, the Canadian heartthrob took home Choice Summer Male Artist and Choice Pop Song for “In My Blood”.

Winners in the music category weren’t all musicians. Zac Efron and Zendaya Coleman, who starred in “The Greatest Showman“, took home Choice Collaboration for their duet in the musical drama, “Rewrite the Stars”. Zac took the stage alone to receive the award and during his acceptance speech, he made sure to show his love for Hugh Jackman.

“From the bottom of my heart, I couldn’t ask for a cooler, more amazing person to work with. He’s my Best Dramatic Actor and a hero, and a mentor, and a good friend. Thank you, Hugh Jackman,” he said, before giving a shoutout to his collaboration partner. “Look what we did! We rewrote the stars!”
