One fan tweeted: ‘Ariana grande is playing Mac Miller right before her opening song for sweetener tour rn and my heart can’t handle it SO MANY TEARS.’
Another also noticed the touching moment, and added: ‘Sitting in our seats at the venue for ariana’s first concert of this tour and the venue starts playing a mac song…’
Mac died in September last year, following an alleged overdose.
The star – real name Malcolm James McCormick – was found at his home in San Fernando valley and his death came just as he was preparing to head off on tour, following the release of his album Swimming.
Mac dated Ariana for two years but split in May 2018, with the singer confirming her relationship with ex-fiance Pete Davidson shortly after.
