Former Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn parted ways with the long-running Channel 4 show in 2021 after joining the adult subscription service OnlyFans.
Dunn, now 40, had been a part of the show since 1996 where she had portrayed the outgoing and opinionated Mandy Richardson.
The character had gone on and off-screen multiple times in her 25-year stint, but seemingly wrapped with the show for the final time last year when she was given the ultimatum to stay on OnlyFans or be part of the soap.
She chose OnlyFans.
How much does Sarah Dunn make on OnlyFans?
In November 2021, the Mirror reported that Sarah Dunn had made £121,000 in just 48 hours through her OnlyFans work.
She chargies £11 a month for people to have access to the site and earned £11,000 in less than two days.
The Sun calculated that after paying her 20% commission rate to OnlyFans, she would have been taking home £96,000 for her work.
Writing on Instagram about her decision to move her more adult content to OnlyFans, Sarah said: “I'm simply moving my sexier, racier images to another platform. This is a decision I've thought long and hard about. It's about taking back control and confidence and having full power over my choices.”
Back in October, MailOnline reported that she had made £7,200 in her first week alone on the site, a move designed to “take back control” after years on the lads mags circuit.
Is Sarah Dunn coming back to Hollyoaks?
Sarah Dunn is said to be finished with Hollyoaks for good. Speaking to TheSun, a source said that she had no interest in returning to the programme.
"Now Sarah has had some breathing space following the row she has decided she definitely doesn’t want to go back,” they said.
“Her OnlyFans account is massive and she is in the top one percent of worldwide creators on the platform.
“Sarah's fans are loving it and so is she.
“The door is closed as far as she is concerned and she will not be going back."
However, that doesn’t necessarily mean she is completely closed off to the idea of acting elsewhere.
According to theMailOnline, the star was in such a financially comfortable position after just six months of working on the site after her Hollyoaks exit, that she didn’t need to work and would only consider “extremely serious offers”.
A source told the publication in April 2022: “She’s earning a lot of money from it, she’s earning enough so that she doesn’t have to do any other work. If an opportunity came up like another acting job or something like that, she doesn’t have to do it.
“It would have to be an amazing opportunity that she’d love to do or financially, it would have to be extremely serious because she doesn’t need the income from that stuff anymore.”
The same source said Dunn moved into the top 2% of OnlyFans creators almost immediately, and that interest in her has remained just as high since.
