Rebekah Vardy compares Coleen Rooney row to ‘arguing with pigeon’ amid WAG feud

Rebekah Vardy has spoken out after she was "annihilated" by former pal Coleen Rooney.

Coleen posted a lengthy statement accusing Rebekah's Instagram account of leaking fake news stories to the UK press, which Becky strongly denies.

Wayne Rooney's WAG believed that a friend had been leaking the stories after she posted things to her private Instagram account which ended up in The Sun.

Coleen turned detective and posted a string of fake stories, including the most recent that her Cheshire mansion had flooded.

All the fake stories Coleen made, ended up in The Sun newspaper, with the WAG claiming only one account had seen the posts.

In a dramatic reveal, Coleen wrote in her statement: "The account was….. Rebekah Vardy's."

Rebekah, who is married to Leicester City star Jamie Vardy has said that multiple people have had access to her Instagram account over recent months and claimed she wouldn't sell stories.

Speaking to the MailOnline from Dubai, Becky said: "I said to her: 'Coleen, what on earth have you done?'

"It was not an easy phone call. She said to me: 'I'm not pointing the finger' and I said: 'You have just annihilated me in public and hung me out to dry. The whole world hates me!'"

37-year-old Rebekah, went on to say she believed the pair were friends, stating that she always liked the Liverpool born WAG.

Becky went on to say arguing with Coleen would be like "arguing with a pigeon. You can tell it that you are right and it is wrong, but it's still going to s*** in your hair."

Speaking about the now world-famous spat, the TV star went on to add: "If I don't talk, then everyone will still think I did it, and the abuse will go on."

The wife of Leicester and England ace has been subjected to horrific online abuse since the story broke.

Rebekah said: "Over 24 hours, this has escalated and escalated, "I wasn't going to say anything but it has gone so extreme. I have been told that I should die, that my children should die, my unborn child should die.

"It would be unacceptable for anyone."

The former nightclub promoter admitted that third parties have had access to her social media page and she has previously given her password out.

She said: "Over the last few years, quite a few people have had access to my Instagram account, including a PR agency and an advertising agency.

"And, yes, I have given my password out.

"It is considered a normal thing to do and I never thought very hard about it."

Claiming she has turned down several interviews talking about the Rooney family, saying it's not her place.

The WAG has confirmed that she has now employed a "forensic cybersecurity expert" to investigate the incident and get to the bottom of the accusations.
