Ranvir Singh shows off incredible makeover as her GMB replacement is confirmed

Ranvir Singh has dazzled her fans with an incredible hair transformation, shortly after it was confirmed that she is leaving her Good Morning Britain role.

The journalist, 44, is stepping down as political editor on the ITV show, although she will still be a presenter.

And it seems she decided a fresh hairdo would go hand in hand with her career shake-up.

A new snap shared on Instagram showed Ranvir smiling as she flaunted a head of longer locks than usual.

Her hair was dark at the top then gradually lightened as it fell over her shoulders in gorgeous, bouncy waves.

Natural-looking makeup and a slick of pale pink lip gloss completed her stunning new look.

"Hair re-done @kitchhair @simplyhairuk always so good to catch up with @lucajoneshair and relish the playlist by Scott," Ranvir captioned the snap.

Fans approved of the star's makeover, with many posting heart and flaming hot emojis in the comments section.

"Beautiful lady," one person wrote.

Another fan said Ranvir was looking "amazing", while one called her a "stunning lady".

Many said longer hair really worked for the star.

"Looks fabulous long," one posted, while another chimed in with: "Long hair really suits you."

"Love the colours which have been added in," said another of Ranvir's followers.

One admirer said the TV star looked "lush", adding: "You go girl!"

Meanwhile, it has been announced that journalist Louisa James will be stepping into Ranvir's shoes on GMB.

The news was confirmed by Anne Alexander, the programme's senior political producer, in a post on Twitter.

"Delighted that @LouisaJamesITV is joining Good Morning Britain’s politics team as Political Correspondent, taking over from @ranvir01," she tweeted.

"She's experienced, hard-working and obsessed with politics. Think she'll do well with me and @kieronishere."

"Welcome to the (mad) House Louisa," she added.
