Frankie Bridge has opened up about undergoing a surgical procedure to have a mysterious object removed from ear, following her stint on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The 33-year-old Loose Women star had to seek specialist help to dislodge what was believed to have been an eggshell from inside her organ for hearing.
Back in November last year, the TV panelist headed to the Welsh Gwrych Castle to take part in many gruesome Bushtucker trials.
The ITV star says that the eggshell in her ear was like a "badge of honour" from being on the show.
During a live Q&A session with her 1.5 million Instagram followers, Frankie told fans all about her war wound.
One inquisitive fan asked about her experience – with the former Saturday's songstress answering the question with an honest response.
While Frankie did enjoy herself on the show, she did also admit that being away from husband Wayne Bridge and their two sons, Parker, eights and Carter, six, proved to be difficult at times.
However having said that, the ex-chart topper had enjoyed being "cut off from the world".
Conversation swiftly turned to the tough living conditions at the castle and the dreaded trials.
Frankie told her followers: "I actually had what we think was a bit of eggshell [sucked] out of my ear last week.
"It had embedded itself in my ear canal.
"I see it as a badge of honour."
Meanwhile, Frankie had also spoke out to address rumours about tension building between her co-stars on the set of Loose Women.
Shooting down feud speculation, the television personality told Fabulous in January that she was unaware of any niggles behind the scenes.
She said: "My friends asked me about [the rumoured rows]. I genuinely don’t experience it or see it.
"When I first went on the show, I was nervous because I’ve read about all these feuds.
"I think it's sad that this doesn't happen on something like [Sky comedy show] A League Of Their Own with a group of men. It's just not mentioned."
