Liam Payne is feeling "fragile" after Cheryl split

Liam Payne has revealed that he’s feeling “fragile” after splitting with Cheryl.

In an interview due to be aired on the Official Vodafone Big Top 40 on Sunday (August 26), Liam opened up about dealing with a break-up in the public eye.

Explaining that he’s “good”, Liam added: “You know, a lot of stuff going on at the minute. Yeah, no, I’m feeling okay – I’m a bit fragile at times. No, I’m alright you know, it’s been okay.”

Liam went on to say that “there’s a lot of stuff [he’s] still got to sort out with [his] life”, before admitting that it’s “difficult” dealing with a split in public.

“You break up, and obviously we’ve broken up and then it was like a couple of days or a couple of weeks before we actually put the announcement out,” he said.

“And that’s the bit when it really hits home I guess – but at the same point it’s like breaking up twice like, we already did this once and now I’m having to go through all of that again just because…

“I have to tell people I don’t even really know. Not the fans so much because it feels like you’re talking to the magazine or the newspaper or whatever, and I have nothing against any of these people but it is a bit weird sometimes.”

Liam added: “I think sometimes people need to remember that behind all those statements and things there are actually people who are going through the same sort of stuff that you go through. Whether they’re famous, rich or whatever they are, it doesn’t really matter.”

Cheryl and Liam announced their split in July, posting identical statements on social media where they both referred to son Bear as their “world”.
