Lauren Jauregui Responds Tiffany Haddish 5H Diss, Fifth Harmony

Camila Cabello said she and her former Fifth Harmony bandmates are “in a really good place now,” but that didn’t stop comedienne Tiffany Haddish from trying to stir up the drama between the ladies at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.

The Girls Trip actress threw some serious shade to kick off the show by saying, “Camila Cabello is nominated for five VMAs tonight; five of ’em! I’m super proud of her. So those of you watching at home… hi Fifth Harmony!”

Cam wasn’t a fan of the diss, as told by her less-than-thrilled reaction when the camera panned to her, and neither was 5H band member Lauren Jauregui. The 22-year-old seemingly responded to Tiffany’s joke by expressing her wish for women to support other women, not tear them down.

She tweeted, “Waiting for the day when supporting one successful dope woman does not mean insult to other successful dope women. There is energy and space for us all to beautifully coexist and bless the world with our individual truths, stories and talents.”

Lauren also stood up for BFF Halsey, who previously explained why she didn’t attend the Video Music Awards this year and shaded MTV as a result.

PREACH, LAUR!!!
