Kerry Katona has reflected on her parenting, claiming she has failed her children after disclosing that they get bullied.
The star, who found fame as one-third of the girl group Atomic Kitten, admitted that her kids face both online and in-person abuse that has left her devastated as she spoke on Steph's Packed Lunch.
Kerry, 41, has made no secret of her troubled past, with her addictions played out in the eye of the nation, something she has spoken openly about.
The Whole Again songstress said: "My children have been hit, they've had abuse face to face, they've had a lot of it online, it's heartbreaking."
The reality star continued: "As a parent, you feel helpless, me particularly, I feel to blame because the bullying is because of who their parent is so that all makes me feel a failure as a mum.
"It's not fair that my kids are getting insults because of my mistakes."
Sobbing, she added: "I've accepted my mistakes, but it is not fair that my children are still getting it."
Kerry's daughter, Lilly-Sue, 18, said she is "genuinely enraged" by the abuse, adding that she has seen her famous mum "bawling her eyes out" due to it.
The former I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmate recently revealed her daughter Heidi is often harassed by bullies at her school.
Explaining her revelation, Kerry claimed Heidi, 14, was "struggling at the end of the school year" after being targeted by other teenagers at her secondary school.
Heidi has since been enrolled at a private school after Kerry's finances rocketed and it seems to have had a positive impact on the teen, with Kerry being "so pleased" after noticing a visible change.
Putting pen to paper for her new! magazine column, the Warrington-born star said: "Heidi really struggled at the end of the school year, before summer, she was being bullied.
"We also moved house and she had to say goodbye to a lot of friends, she's 14 and it's a tough age, she felt down on life – everything was negative, I felt she'd lost her spark.
"But a week into her new school, she seems so excited, I can see that spark in her face again and I'm so pleased."
