Jesy Nelson has addressed why she broke down in tears during Little Mix’s live radio performance today – which sparked her fans to fear for her well being.
The singer was seen putting her hand up and shaking uncontrollably after the group performed their newest single Holiday on BBC Radio One's Live Lounge in what was their first post lockdown appearance.
Her bandmates spotted her funny turn and Leigh-Anne Pinnock was seen gesturing to her to calm down before Jade Thirlwall then rushed over to comfort her pal.
Jesy's other bandmates then rushed over as a backstage staff member came over to console her as she became tearful.
The cameras were then suddenly turned off but Jesy managed to fight back the tears and later return to complete the set.
Jesy later addressed the incident on social media, sharing a video of the group performing the song in rehearsals, writing: "So my nerves got the better of me today and I had panic attack right before we were about to sing this for live lounge today and like a pro @perrieedwards jumped in for my part last minute and smashed it.
"This is what we originally did in rehearsals."

Another added: "Jesy is SO critical of herself and her vocals i hope she doesn’t think she sung badly or something? she did seem kinda off during the holiday performance even though she sounded UNREAL."
Someone else commented: "They were so nervous, you could tell. I‘m not gonna lie right, I got a bit worried after the holiday performance because it was a bit shaky and you could tell that they knew that.
