Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend and huge fortune as car gaffe leaves pair stranded

Jeremy Clarkson is known partly for his amazing knowledge of all things cars, but a recent gaffe meant that he and his girlfriend were left stranded while inside of one.

While the former Top Gear presenter was trying out the Maserati MC20, a small glitch left his girlfriend Lisa Hogan trapped inside.

Writing in his Sunday Times column, Jeremy, 61, explained: "We were still in the pub car park because neither of us could find anything that even remotely resembled a door handle. ‘We’d have been screwed if we’d crashed into a lake,’ Lisa said."

A recent Grand Tour special, alongside James May and Richard Hammond, was recently released in December 2021 and producer Andy Wilman revealed that two more specials would be filmed this year.

"We should have shot all this stuff in 2020, we're going to be doing it in 2022 so we're two years behind and all our focus is on that at the minute," he said.

The new shows under the current contract will surely add to Clarkson's success, his career earning him a fortune alongside his recent exploits on Clarkson's Farm.
