Teigen and Legend prioritize each other and make sure to take time for date nights and special moments reserved for just them. While any parent knows that this can be hard to do with young children in the house, they seem to realize that ensuring that their marriage is strong keeps the whole family dynamic tight. Teigen and Legend share two children, Luna Stephens (Legend’s birth name), born in April 2016, and Miles Theodore Stephens (who looks exactly like his famous father), born in May 2018.
Teigen has been open about the challenges of parenting and in 2017, she revealed that after the birth of her daughter, she faced a fierce battle with postpartum depression. Postpartum depression is very common among women, but in many circles is still stigmatized, and women can feel uncomfortable sharing their stories. In her interview with Glamour, Teigen stated that she felt a responsibility to open up about her postpartum depression so that other women might not feel so alone. She also revealed that she leaned on her husband more than ever during that time, and when she was in the throes of her depression and didn’t want to do anything more than sleep on the couch all day, Legend was right there beside her. Legend’s support, along with good advice from her doctors, contributed to her winning the battle with PPD and allowed her to get back to feeling like herself again.

Although there are a lot of relationships in Hollywood that feature large age gaps, Teigen and Legend are pretty close to the same age. Teigen was born in 1985 and celebrated her 33rd birthday this past November. Legend turned 40 in December and rang in the big birthday with a fabulous party concocted by his wife. The party took place in their California home and was James Bond-themed. The couple welcomed a slew of their famous friends as guests, including Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West.
The small age gap between Legend and Teigen seems to work well for them, and though their personalities seem to be polar opposites (Legend is more reserved while Teigen is outspoken and funny), they balance each other out quite well. As they do, tabloids often try to concoct rumors about their relationship, even going so far as to ask Legend how he “deals” with his social-media star wife. Teigen recently opened up on that issue and said that she “doesn’t love it” when Legend consistently gets asked that specific question. While she admitted that they are very different people, it works for them – and moreover, reporters don’t ask her how she deals with Legend when he gets quiet.
Teigen and Legend have been inseparable since 2007, and ever since they tied the knot in 2013, have been one of the most enviable, beloved power couples in the world. Here’s hoping that the next decades of their relationship are just as interesting and adorable as the past twelve years!
