Halsey Proud to Have Pissed Off ‘Homophobic’ Viewers of ‘The Voice’ After Performance Backlash

AceShowbizHalsey embraced her LGBTQ self when she graced the stage in season 15 finale of “The Voice” with her performance, but it appeared not everyone was pleased with that. There was a significant number of individuals who called her performance “inappropriate” for television, criticizing the pixie-haired singer.

During her performance of “Without Me”, Halsey was accompanied by actress and dancer Jade Chynoweth as they told the story of a same-sex relationship through a contemporary dance. Despite the gorgeousness of the set, enraged viewers at home thought that her performance wasn’t appropriate to be televised, but unsurprisingly enough, Halsey wouldn’t let them have the last laugh.

Not stopping there, Halsey decided to directly call out one critic who dubbed her hugging Jade “disgusting.” The “Closer” hitmaker sarcastically replied to the critic, “I too find hugs DISGUSTING !!!”
