Gordon Ramsay shocks fans by serving up £275 Xmas Day meal at his posh eatery

Gordon Ramsay has left fans with their mouths open after it was announced he will be serving up Christmas grub at a posh London eatery for £275.

The celebrity chef, 55, will be cooking roast dinners at his swish Savoy Grill and will be charging diners a small fortune for the pleasure.

On top of this, the sweary chef, 55, is also charging £350 each for a New Year’s Eve nosh-up at his swish Savoy Grill.

Prices for the festive feasts don’t include the £2 cover charge for each guest or a “discretionary” 15% service charge on the total bill – taking the cost to £320 a person on December 25 and £405 on the 31st… and that’s before you have had a drink.

The Savoy, in west London, says of its “exquisite” six-course Christmas dinner: “Join us for an unforgettable day and let us treat you and your loved ones.”

The meal includes canapés, pumpkin velouté, souffle, Norfolk turkey, beef Wellington or Dover sole.

After that there’s orange sorbet and Christmas pudding or a cheeseboard. Foodies were left fuming last year when Ramsay – worth £163million – told them about his £140 Christmas dinner at Bread Street Kitchen.

The Michelin-starred chef captioned a snap of the meal “Christmas sorted”. But critics slated him for everything from the stingy portion size to the gravy quality.

One raged online: “That gravy looks runny as hell.” Another asked: “Where is the rest of it?”

This comes after Gordon left fans gobsmacked by how much his adorable son Oscar is the spitting image of the TV chef.

The dad-of-five welcomed two-year-old Oscar back in 2019, and he’s rarely seen in the public eye.

But that all changed over the weekend, as Gordon shared a snap of the tot in a smart red jumper, adding the Instagram caption: "Dressed in my Sunday Best."

Gordon has shared several pictures in the past of his adorable toddler, including one in which Oscar was perched on his dad’s shoulders while they enjoyed a day out together.

And his latest snap was inundated with comments from loyal fans who pointed out just how much of a doppelgänger Oscar is already.

One penned: "Every time I see little Oscar, I can’t get over how much he looks like you!"

As another agreed: "He’s got the Ramsay look nailed down!"
