Elvis Presley died in 1977 of a cardiac arrest in his home at Graceland, Memphis. His death ushered in a hugely lavish funeral, where his friends, family, and fans all gathered to remember the King and his music. However, many people simply refuse to believe the star died at all. Instead, they believe the King “faked” his death, and he has been living another life ever since.
While a number of theories have surrounded the idea of Presley being alive, one of the more recent ones suggests he is still in the public eye.
Many theories have suggested he hid himself away from the public eye to get away from his fame.
However the arrival of a singing Pastor with a thick Memphis accent online has sparked a number of rumours online.
The pastor can be seen online singing to his congregation with beautiful eloquence.
However it is this talent in singing that has led Elvis fans straight to him.
Most recently, on the Evidence Elvis Presley is Alive Facebook group, a group of fans began talking about the pastor.
They posted a video comparing the singing voice of the pastor and the King, playing them over one another.
While they are supremely similar, it is difficult to tell if they are in fact voices from the same person.
The Facebook page commented: “This voice comparison between Elvis and Bob Joyce singing ‘Who Am I’ sound similar. This is our man.” (sic)
They repeated: “Enjoy this voice comparison between Elvis and Bob Joyce singing ‘Who Am I’. Notice that they sound similar. This is our man.”
Fans sounded off in the comments of the video agreeing with the post, as one wrote: “There have been many imitators, but there is only one Elvis voice! God bless him.”
Another said: “Omg so good sounds like Elvis to me I believe.”

Unfortunately nothing has been proven as of yet, so fans of the King will have to continue looking out for clues relating to his apparently long and happy life.
In 1997 Elvis’ former lover Ann-Margret spoke out on why she would never “betray” his memory.
Speaking about the king long after his death, she revealed: “Our relationship was very strong, and very serious and very real.
“It was extremely special. It was very strong.
She went on to add: “We were together for one year and he trusted me.
“And I would not want to betray his trust in death.”
And it seems she has not so far in her life, but instead has opted to talk positively about the star over the years.
“There’s been so much written that has been negative about him that I want to celebrate his life [and] the man that I knew,” Ann-Margret added.
