Does Billie Eilish's Tour Mean She's Releasing New Music Soon? Here's What We Know About This Artist and Her Upcoming Live Performances

This artist never let her age stand in the way of what she wanted. Well, except maybe voting and driving past 11 p.m. What’s next for this Grammy-nominated artist? Will Billie Eilish drop another album in the new year? Here’s what we know about this musician, her upcoming tour, and new music.

At only 18 years old, Billie Eilish is one of the artists with the most nominations at the Grammy Awards

Billie Eilish may be one of the youngest artists on the Billboard Hot 100, but she’s definitely one of the most popular. She’s often an activist for the environment, sharing a powerful message with her “All The Good Girls Go to Hell” music video. She even wrote a song about her love for The Office.

Perhaps her most popular song, “Bad Guy,” has over a billion plays on the streaming platform, Spotify. For the upcoming 2020 Grammy Awards, Billie Eilish is one of the performers along with Lizzo, Aerosmith, and Gwen Stefani.

Eilish and her brother, Finneas O’Connell, are also two of the artists with the most nominations, including those for “Best New Artist,” “Record Of The Year,” and “Album Of The Year.” However, Billie Eilish doesn’t stop there. After spending some time in Los Angeles, the artist is ready to hit the road, starting her tour during March 2020.

Billie Eilish is going on tour during 2020

Just like her music videos, Billie Eilish is known for her creative, creepy, and always entertaining live performances. One of the most iconic and monumental was her Coachella set, where even Justin Bieber was in attendance. The artist embarks on another tour during March 2020, entitled the “Where Do We Go?” Tour.

These live performances, beginning in early March, take Eilish through North America, South America, and parts of Europe. Some venues already sold out, including New York City’s Madison Square Garden and London’s O2 Arena. Some fans took to social media, sharing their excitement about seeing this popstar live.

What’s next for Billie Eilish and her music?

There’s no word regarding when new music by Billie Eilish will drop. However, the artist recently released a new version of “Bad Guy” with her life-long celebrity crush Justin Bieber. In November 2019, she premiered the song “Everything I Wanted.” During one interview with Billboard, Billie Eilish discussed being a young artist during this generation.

“I’m lucky enough to be in a generation that’s able to break every rule — and that’s crazy. When I think about artists who grew up in a time where you could only have one genre and one look and couldn’t change that ever … that must have been torturous,” Eilish said. “Especially to people who wanted to change. It’s really cool that I get to do this in a time when it’s more freeing. To be honest, there isn’t really anything that’s off-limits.”

Billie Eilish’s music, including her most recently-released album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major streaming platforms.
