Captain America actor Chris Evans condemns Piers Morgan for mocking James Bond star Daniel Craig's papoose

Good Morning Britain‘s Piers Morgan is facing the wrath of a thousand dads, after taking the mick out of Daniel Craig wearing a papoose.

(With his baby in, not just an empty papoose.)

“Oh 007.. not you as well?!!! #papoose #emasculatedBond,” Piers wrote on Twitter, before the hell ensued.

And no-one was more scathing of Piers’ post than Captain America himself, Chris Evans.

“You really have to be so uncertain of your own masculinity to concern yourself with how another man carries his child,” the actor wrote. “Any man who wastes time quantifying masculinity is terrified on the inside.”

He wasn’t the only one to stick it to Piers, as legions of dads took to Twitter to share photos of themselves proudly wearing their papooses.

“I also cook, clean, do laundry, tuck the kids in, wash them, read to them, do homework with them, hold them when they are sad and laugh with them when they joke,” one follower replied. “I’m not as much of a looker as Daniel Craig, but I’m happy i’m in good company.”

“I’ve seldom been happier in my life than when walking around with my babies strapped to me. What a loss for you that you’re too much of a man to be a dad,” another tweeted.

Meanwhile, Piers has revealed that his time presenting GMB may be up soon. The former Britain’s Got Talent judge has hosted the early-morning news show since November 2015, when he joined Susanna Reid.

In a behind-the-scenes tour of the brand new daytime studios, Piers and Susanna spoke to Digital Spy about how long they were prepared to stay on the show.
