Following their appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon“, BTS (Bangtan Boys) has once again graced U.S. television when they stopped by “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, September 26. The seven-piece group belted out performance of their latest song “IDOL” during the episode.

Just like the outfits that they wore on the Jimmy Fallon-hosted show, the boys donned colorful suits for the performance. Their fans, known as ARMYs, were seen cheering very loudly throughout the performance as RM (Rap Monster) and his bandmates showed off their sharp dance moves. While BTS is known to bring their backup dancers for performance of “IDOL”, their dancers didn’t show up this time. It didn’t mean their rendition would be less epic than usual, though.

Besides performing, the South Korean boyband sat down for an interview, where they talked about their world tour and their “Love Yourself: Answer” album. Talking about the message of the album, RM said, “We thought that, you know, the most thing that especially the young generation needed is that true love begins, first begins with loving myself.”

“We though that reminding [the] words of ‘Loving Yourself,’ it’s not rare these days, now, but I just reminding these words to the world could have some meaning to the ARMYs and ourselves,” the leader of the group continued. “So we thought true love begins with loving ourselves and we’re trying to love ourselves too, and I hope the ARMYs can do the same.”

It was reported that fans began lining up at “Good Morning America” Times Square location at midnight ahead of the show, which started at 7 A.M. ET. BTS themselves only showed up around 8:30 A.M.

BTS is currenly touring the United States for their “Love Yourself” tour. They will wrap up the North American leg of the tour on October 6 in New York.
