Britney Spears and sister Jamie Lynn Spears’ relationship is so fraught that they speak through the superstar’s fiance.

The pop star is livid at her younger sister’s “public betrayal” comments on her personal life in interviews and within her memoir, Things I Should Have Said,

And while the pair’s lawyers have waged war on one another and the sisters’ have been feuding on social, Sam Asghari has been an olive branch.

Actor and personal trainer Asghari has “acted as the go between despite the breakdown in trust".

Associates of Aghari say that he would like the pair to “stop waging war publicly” because it is damaging for both of them.

An LA source said: “The barbs and angry posts and comments fly around, but Sam has been the one trying to keep them talking and hoping for a resolution.

“They do text directly, but Sam is the one trying to have them talk out all these problems, because it has blown up into such a big scandal.”

The source confirmed that most of Jamie Lynn’s communication with Britney goes through her sister’s fiancé, Sam.

“Jamie Lynn doesn’t have a strong relationship with her nephews and feels very iced out of Britney’s life,” the source said.

It comes after Jamie Lynn issued a public plea to her sister to contact her over their feud.

Britney has accused Jamie Lynn of not being supportive during her 13-year-long conservatorship battle.

Jamie Lynn recently appeared in a sit-down interview on Good Morning America.

During the chat on US television, Jamie Lynn raised her grievances and her positioning in the conservatorship whilst promoting her book named, Things I Should Have Said.

After Britney had called her out and branded her as "scum", Jamie took to social media and urged her sister to contact her.

She started with: "Britney – Just call me, I have attempted many times to speak to you directly and handle this privately as sisters should, but you still choose to do everything on a public platform.

She added: "I'm happy to share how many times I've reached out to you, supported you and tried to help you."

Britney has since branded former Zoey 101 star Jamie Lynn a "selfish little brat" while claiming she was "f***ing hateful" when she was younger.
