Over the years, the Backstreet Boys have had plenty of memorable jams — but there’s one song they wish everyone would forget.
In their latest #DNAuary video shared on YouTube, band members Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Howie Dorough answered a series of questions ranging from their first impressions of each other to who the best prankster of the group is.
While their answers varied, there was one question that they were able to unanimously agree on — their least favorite Backstreet Boys song.
Taking the prize for their worst track in 25 years was “If You Want It to Be Good Girl (Get Yourself a Bad Boy)” from their 1997 second studio album, Backstreet’s Back.
Richardson called it “horrible,” while McLean explained, “That song should’ve never been recorded. It is the biggest piece of crap.”
Littrell, 43, offered a reason as to why fans feel differently about the late ’90s tune.
“You know why the fans love that song? Because Nick is singing the whole dang thing,” he said, before imitating the band’s singing in a nasal tone.
But Carter, who vocally held the lead in the song, wasn’t convinced. “I don’t really have a song that I don’t like,” he shared.

Finishing the video on a more serious note, the guys — who have been together for more than two decades — expressed their gratitude and “everlasting” love for one another.
“We’ve been through — and I’m not exaggerating when I say everything together,” McLean, 41, explained.
“They are every bit a part of me, all four of them,” Carter, 38, said, while Richardson, 47, added, “They’re my brothers from another mother.”

The #DNAuary videos on YouTube come as the band prepares to release their ninth studio album, titled DNA, on Jan. 25.
In November, the band dropped their new single, “Chances,” written by Ryan Tedder and Shawn Mendes, and announced their upcoming album and DNA World Tour, which will be the group’s biggest arena tour in 18 years. They have since released three other songs on the album.
The tour will begin in May after their 14-month Las Vegas residency Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life comes to an end in April. It will kick off in Portugal on May 11, touch down in Europe, and then head to the States until mid-September. Tickets are currently available here.
“We are stoked to finally be here again gearing up for a new album, new tour, and brand new single,” McLean previously told PEOPLE. “There are so many amazing things we have up our sleeves. It’s really nice to see the actual payday when we’ve been busting our butt in the studio. We’ve been working on this record for quite some time now, it’s finally about to be sooner or later presented to the world.”

The “Larger Than Life” hitmakers, who recently celebrated 25 years together, said they could not feel more grateful for this new chapter.
“For a group like us to still be here 25 years later is a huge testament to the music and a huge testament to our fans — the most loyal fans in the world sticking with us the entire time and they continue to push us to strive and be better,” McLean said.

“We’re always trying to set new goals for ourselves. I know going into this tenth album that we set that goal to be able to put up a massive tour, especially coming off the heels of such a huge show in Las Vegas,” he continued.
“To be able to one-up that or at least have something that’s so different from Las Vegas but still of that type of magnitude would be a dream. Here we are about to go into pre-production for exactly that, which has been amazing. It really is a dream come true. We are blessed,” McLean added.
The group scored a 2019 Grammy Award nomination for their single “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” in the best pop duo/group performance category.
