Always Wet Boy Delivers '90s R&B Fueled Debut Single, "Dance For You"

After weeks of teasing, South Korean Instagram sensation Always Wet Boy (@gagjinbeom) has now released his debut single, “Dance For You.”

Accompanied by members of his popular comedic troop, Namolla Family, the ’90s R&B track chronicles “the story of the day.” Releasing with a music video fittingly shot on an Apple iPhone 11 Pro, the visual starts with a flashback that reveals what exactly made it “a day that I don’t want to remember…”

After learning of his lover’s infidelity, Wet Boy awakes from a mattress outside his lost love’s home breaking into one of his signature emotion-filled dances. This time backed by his dressed in all-white crew, led by his cameraman videoman23(who also directed the music video), the group deliver a synchronized routine leading into the smooth chorus provided by singer-songwriter Golden.

With a brief refrain, Wet Boy utters “I want rain…verse two” signaling the rain. Cutting into scenes of the Instagram star delivering his lovelorn lines in the shower and heavy downpour. Despite the incredibly captivating dance number in the rain, Wet Boy is consoled by his crew just as the music video ends with the door slamming shut highlighting his wasted efforts.
