Would you pay $2,000 for a better orgasm? How women are getting ‘O-boost’ injections to ‘increase libido and lubrication’

  • A number of Australian clinics are offering an ‘O-boost’ for sexual activity
  • It claims to increase sensitivity of a woman’s clitoris and make sex less painful
  • The Manse Clinic in Sydney and Academy Face and Body perform it
  • The procedure costs $2,000 to do once and can be repeated once yearly

If you’re wanting to ‘treat yourself’ over the holiday period – and don’t mind the sight of needles – this revolutionary treatment offered by Australian surgeons might be just what you’re looking for.

The ‘O-boost’ claims to greatly enhance the female orgasm by increasing lubrication, stimulation of the clitoris and libido, in one no-fuss $2,000 injection.

Dr Naomi McCullen and her team from renowned Sydney-based surgery The Manse Clinic administer the shot, listing its ability to help with sexual wellbeing as well as stress urinary incontinence – or lack of bladder control – as major drawcards.

‘One to two treatments are necessary to begin with and can be repeated once yearly after that,’ Dr Naomi explained.

When you walk in for an ‘O-boost’ treatment you will have numbing cream applied to the clitoris area underneath the urethra and the ‘entrance to the anterior (front) vaginal wall’.

Blood from your arm is extracted and only the platelets are collected, then ‘activated’ and triggered to release their ‘growth factors’.

This is then injected below the urethra and into the vaginal wall under local anaesthetic.

The complicated process is described as ‘minimally painful’ and an urge to ‘urinate’ is considered the most common effect.

Immediately after the treatment a patient may experience swelling, bruising and spotting from the needle entry points – but a panty liner is always provided.

It’s recommended you wait 24 hours before having sex, post-treatment.

She said the shot activates stem calls and triggers tissue repair and the formation of new blood cells.

And given it’s part of your own body being re-injected it’s considered an entirely natural therapy.
