Woman leaves boyfriend horrified as she gobbles entire Babybel even with wax on

For Brits, Babybel's were a staple food item for a childhood packed lunch.

The delicious cheese snack is one we all know well as we understandable the bit around the treat mustn't be eaten.

However this has turned out not to be universal knowledge.

A concerned boyfriend posted to Reddit saying he gave his Korean girlfriend a Babybel and she ate the whole thing – including the wax.

Posting on the online forum, he said: "I just gave my Korean girlfriend a Babybel for the first time and she just ate it wax and all. I don't even know what to say…"

This lead to a stream of comments from people who found this hilarious.

One person commented: "This was the laugh I needed today."

Another wrote: "My Japanese wife did the same."

A third said: "I’ve always wanted to eat the wax… just me…"

A forth penned: "Quick, feed her some wick so she can s*** out a candle."

While some people left comments about other peoples food and drink mistake.

One person said: "Polish friend of my drank a whole bottle of Robinson orange complained it was too sweet and strong. He didn't know you had to add water."

Another wrote: " My American girlfriend at the time went through my toiletries bag looking for tooth paste when we were on holiday. She found my Bonjela and brushed her teeth with a big blob of the stuff. She couldn’t work out why her whole mouth went numb."

A third commented: "I have eaten Chewits with the paper still on before."

And a fourth said: "I ate 3 kiwi fruits before anyone told me/I realised you had to peel. Was confused why people would choose to eat itchy food but ploughed on regardless."

Some people thought the the girl's boyfriend was mean for not telling her.

One said: "Well that wasn’t very nice of you now was it?"

Another wrote: "I think you should’ve said 'stop that’s wax'."

A third said: "'Here this is a Babybel you have to open it and the red stuff is wax!' That would have done it."
