Wilmer Valderrama Demi Lovato Rehab, Visits Treatment Center

Demi Lovato is, according to her mom, doing great in rehab.

“She’s happy, she’s healthy, she’s working on her sobriety, and she’s getting the help she needs,” Dianna De La Garza tells Newsmax TV.

The singer checked into rehab almost two months ago after overdosing on Oxycodone that was allegedly laced with fentanyl at the end of July. The 26-year-old’s family has been by her side the whole way, but one person who’s also acting as a rock is none other than ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

The 38-year-old actor visited D.Lo in the hospital shortly after the OD and has reportedly put his life on hold to stand by her side while she gets treatment.

TMZ reports, “Demi quietly transferred from a rehab center on the East Coast to another facility that is world-renowned for its addiction programs. She’s been at that facility for more than a month, and Wilmer has flown there several times during visiting days to be with her.”

Sources who live in a neighboring town tell the site that the NCIS star and “Sober” crooner have been spotted at a local Starbucks together several times and it appeared that they were a couple, according to people who were also in the shop.

Wilmer was reportedly “completely devastated” to hear the news of Demi’s overdose, as he “knew she was going through a tough time but wasn’t prepared for this.”

The That ’70s Show alum was asked on an Australian radio show about DL’s relapse shortly before she overdosed, but he remained pretty tight-lipped about how she was doing.

“I respect her and I love her so much. That is something that is so personal and very hard to understand. I think that it’s better if we all just kinda sit back and let her work it out,” he said.

Although Demi and Wilmer split in June 2016, their love for each other remained and it’s clear that the actor still cares deeply about the songstress, whom he dated for about six years.
